About Us The studio provides safe, professional, and confidential services, and offer state-of-the-art Sterilization and hygiene standards and unparalleled aftercare. For body piercing we carry an unlimited selection of only the highest quality body piercing jewelry made from implant grade materials, precious metals, gemstones, organics, and glass. For tattooing our staff is trained to work with you to achieve the body art you desire. We will work from our studio selections or help you create a totally unique custom body art design. Asian, fantasy, traditionally, tribal, new school, the choice is yours! We also specialize in repairing old, damaged, or poorly applied tattoos. Blue Star artists and body Piercers practice universal precautions in all phases of our business. Materials used in the application of tattoos and/or piercing are single-service; bagged/sealed and autoclaved (steam pressure sterilizer). Our autoclave is monitored by Enviro-Tech Laboratories, Inc. to ensure proper function. Please ask to see our certificate when you visit the store. We will gladly explain how an autoclave works and what it does for you. Single-service ink trays are new with each client. Needle are destroyed and/or placed in a sharps container at the end of there use to ensure confidence that we are a single-service studio. All work surfaces are disinfected with viruscidal preparations designed to eliminate contamination. Gloves are always used, even for the most minor procedure. We care about our profession and we care about our clients. Blue Star Tattoos Inc. specializes in all types of traditional and newly developed piercing, and provides personalized aesthetic consultations, customized jewelry design, complete after assistance and problem assessment. If you would like a consultation prior to making a final decision, or just want to see the studio, feel free to drop by without an appointment. For the comfort and discretion of our clients we have a comfortable, private booth, most jewelry purchases, we encourage professional fitting and installation. Walk-Ins and Appointments We offer piercing and tattooing services by appointment, as well as on a walk-in basis, as time permits. If time is a factor, we strongly suggest making an appointment. Clients who have appointments will be served first, and walk-ins will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis after appointments. We take appointments for piercing's up to a half-hour before we close and appointments for tattoos up to one hour before we close. We make every effort to accommodate walk-ins for piercing's and tattoos up until an hour before we close, but if we are busy, we may have to stop taking them sooner. Therefore, if you wish to get a piercing or tattoo at the end of a day, having an appointment will help assure we can serve you. On Saturdays, we do tattoos and body piercing exclusively on a walk-in basis ...first-come-first-served. Payment We DO NOT accept checks. Gift Certificates Body jewelry and tattoos make wonderful and unique gifts. Not sure exactly what the person your buying for likes, or not sure what size their jewelry is?
